Dear Ben Porat Yosef Family:

I hope that your new year is off to a wonderful start. We appreciate the confidence that you have placed in Ben Porat Yosef by selecting us to partner with you in your children’s education, emotional growth, and social development. We are committed to giving your children an outstanding educational foundation, while also providing them with a nurturing ‘home’ in an environment of Torah, mitzvot, and ahavat Yisrael. Our methods of instruction are differentiated and child-centered, as we strive to help our students become confident and empowered to question and explore.

BPY’s re-enrollment process is completely online. Student profile information has been pre-loaded and can be edited online as necessary, and submitted. You should have received an email from TADS, our online service provider, inviting you to enroll your child. Within the TADS email, there is a link to set-up your account and enable re-enrollment. Please note, these emails contain information that will pre-populate your family’s information, so you should not forward to other parents.

Re-enrollment fees can now be submitted conveniently either by credit card (with a fee to the vendor), or by electronic withdrawal. Instructions are on the online form. If you have any questions about this please feel free to consult with Shoshi Ryp in the business office at or 201-845-5007 x12.

Please submit your online re-enrollment no later than November 21, 2017. After this date the fee will rise to $1000; after February 1st the fee will rise to $1250. We hope that everyone will re-enroll on time and avail themselves of the lowest possible fee. Re-enrollment secures a spot in the school and is an indication of the number of spots available for children from new families. New sibling applications will receive priority if applications are received by this date as well. B”H, based on the inquiries we have received to date we are expecting many applications. Please help us by meeting the November 21st deadline, as we have a limited number of openings in some grades, and will not be able to hold a place for a returning student or sibling without a completed enrollment.

Transportation – For grades kindergarten and up, New Jersey towns (with the exception of Bergenfield, Glen Rock, & Cliffside Park, Passaic) require the submission of a B6T transportation form and provide transportation (or aid in lieu). Englewood also provides transportation for students in Toddler, Nursery, and PK if space allows. Please print out the B6T form. Once complete you may then fax to TADS at 612-548-3323 with your account number, mail to TADS 1201 Hawthorne Avenue, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55403 or upload. To upload, login to your TADS account, click Required Documents tab and then click on “I would like to upload a document” and proceed. B6T forms are due with your application.  To download a B6T bus transportation request form for children entering kindergarten and above please click on the link below.

Please know that we remain steadfast in our commitment to fiscal responsibility and continue to manage our expenses carefully while actively seeking to generate incremental non-tuition revenue to support our program. As always, we are sensitive to the needs of our families, which figure heavily as we manage our budget. In order to budget and plan responsibly for next year, tuition rates for 2018-19/5779 will be finalized and shared in the spring, as per our longstanding practice, when we are able to project our revenues and expenses with the greatest degree of accuracy.

We thank you for your continued trust in Ben Porat Yosef and look forward to continuing our partnership to facilitate your children’s growth and learning.

Rabbi Saul Zucker
