Ways to Give
Ben Porat Yosef is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization and all gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
There are many different ways you can make a donation to the school. Each gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. We ask every family to give as their means allow – donations range in size and every dollar matters. Your participation is a valuable sign of your belief in our mission and a signal of your pride in BPY.
Our fiscal year runs July 1st through June 30th. The school budget and funding decisions are based on both pledges and donations. We encourage all supporters to make their gift or pledge as early in the fiscal year as possible as possible.
Sponsorship Opportunities
BPY counts on our parents, grandparents, alumni families and friends to celebrate and support our milestone events. Throughout the BPY school year, there are a myriad of ways to enrich our secular and Judaic studies for students, both school-wide and grade-specific. Together, we can celebrate the beauty of our shared Jewish values and make an investment in education that will yield dividends for years to come.
To express our gratitude to our generous sponsors, we are pleased to offer:
- Acknowledgment of sponsored programs, including signage and announcements
- Recognition in our daily communications to the BPY community, such as the Daily Bulletin (for BPY parents) and our Faculty & Staff Memo
- Recognition in the BPY weekly newsletter, the Divrei Yosef
Sponsoring a day or week of learning at BPY is a meaningful way to acknowledge a special milestone or to honor or memorialize a loved one.
When you dedicate a day of learning, the day or week of learning sponsorship message (provided by the sponsor) will be:
- Emailed to entire BPY school community (standalone email)
- Announced in morning announcements by our Head of School
If preferred, sponsorship can remain anonymous. Dedications start at $180/day. Submit your request here.
The Giving Circle provides essential support for all aspects of our school’s operations, including curricular enhancements, learning support, professional development, investments in technology, and our scholarship fund. Philanthropic support of BPY is essential to the continued success of our exceptional programming and represents an investment in the future of our community.
Grandparents are vital members of the Ben Porat Yosef community. The Ben Porat Yosef Grandparent Circle is an annual program designed to further your involvement in your grandchild(ren)’s life and develop a closer connection to their education.
Your annual Grandparent Circle gift to Ben Porat Yosef enables us to provide your grandchildren with an exceptional yeshiva education and the best opportunities for the next generation. The Grandparent Circle provides you with the opportunity to significantly impact the Ben Porat Yosef community and help support our mission.
Scholarship Fund:
The BPY Scholarship Fund proceeds are specifically designated for need-based financial aid. The Scholarship Fund support helps us accept and serve more students, and a wide range of students and families makes us a better school and stronger community.
Each year, BPY holds an annual Mini Golf Classic, a culminating event at the end of the academic year, to celebrate the BPY community and our collective grassroots fundraising efforts. This fundraising initiative relies on our close-knit BPY community of current families, faculty and staff as they launch fundraising pages and manage creative fundraising events and social networking to encourage their networks to support BPY.
